STORY: In 1962, immediately after successfully completing his oenology studies, Miguel A. Torres wanted to apply the newly acquired knowledge and at the same time give something back to his family. In a small bodega in the Penedès mountains, he allowed Parellada grapes to ferment at low temperatures for the first time in order to prepare a wine with even more freshness and aromatic fruit. The first Viña Sol was born.

VINIFICATION: In order to preserve their juicy fruit and freshness as much as possible, the grapes are harvested in the cool morning hours, brought immediately to the winery, the musts are fermented at a cool 16°C in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, the wines are then not aged in the barrel and bottled early.
AROMA: fragrant, aromatic bouquet with fruity notes of green apple, pineapple, a hint of flowers and citrus fruits
ASSESSMENT: Soft and balanced on the palate with fine fruit and an elegant acidity, very silky, slim and straightforward, with an aromatic, slightly exotic aftertaste.
