STORY: Not only the Saale and Unstrut rivers, but also the passion of over 400 winegrowers in Germany's northernmost wine-growing region form the basis of the Freyburg Winegrowers' Association. Fairness, trust, the shared joy of viticulture and the collegial cooperation make every single vine a part of this cooperative work of art. The result of this devotion to the winemaker's trade is a range with great variety and a wine style that is unmistakable throughout Germany.

Although we, as Hanseatic citizens, tend to be modest and reserved, let's jump over our shadow and pat ourselves on the back. With the Beau Chêne wines, we have made a find that will be a lot of fun for all of us. These honest wines owe their captivating nature to the Grenache grape variety from the Rhône Valley, which produces fresh, extremely fruity and wonderfully uncomplicated wines in the vineyards of southern France. The Delaunays have specialized in varietal pure Grenache wines and brought it to perfection with their aging. Incidentally, this also applies to the price, which – for a liter bottle – is more than impressive.
