• VINIFICATION: The Rieslings are strictly separated according to vineyard sites, mostly fermented spontaneously and stored and matured in 1,000 l oak barrels or ultra-modern stainless steel tanks.

The slopes, which are spread over 4.5 hectares between Enkirch, Piesport and Traben-Trarbach, rise up with a gradient of up to 85% in a southerly direction. Here is managed exclusively by hand. The Rieslings are strictly separated according to the vineyard site, mostly fermented spontaneously and stored and matured in 1,000 l oak barrels or state-of-the-art stainless steel tanks. Above all, Patrick wants one thing: to wrest wines from the steep slopes, which are characterized by gray slate, from which their origin speaks completely unadulterated. Most of his plants in the renowned Gaispfad and Günterslay locations are still planted with ungrafted vines. Through strictly reduced yields and consistent grape selection, he not only manages to make a contribution to the preservation of the Moselle cultural landscape, but also to make this unique terroir tasteable in the glass. Elegant and mineral, full-bodied and full-bodied, the Rieslings offer pure Moselle wine pleasure. The degrees given in the wine names are based on the slope and reflect the in-house quality pyramid.
