Spumanti Valdo was founded in Valdobbiadene in 1926 at the initiative of the local Prosecco grape producers under the name "Società Anonima Vini Superiori". In the 1940s the company was taken over by the Bolla family from Verona. The company was given a new name and was called "Spumanti Valdo" from then on. The Valdo winery, which has always attached great importance to the best oenological traditions, was soon able to gain an excellent position in the sparkling wine and prosecco market. The company went through a restructuring in the 1990s. As a result, Valdo is now one of the best and most sought-after Prosecco producers in Italy and abroad.
