• STORY: Since 1670, the tradition of growing and expanding wine has been cultivated in the Trenz winery and has been family-owned ever since. Goethe describes the famous Johannisberg location with the sentence: "The Johannisberg rules over everything." The advanced quartzite hill presents itself as the “crown of the Rheingau” on all sides and, thanks to its southern slope and microclimate, perfectly meets the high demands placed on the Riesling vine.

• VINIFICATION: After the selective harvest, the grapes are gently pressed and fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. Developed consciously without the use of wood, this drop is full of fruit and refreshing liveliness.

• AROMA: Shooting Star Michael Trenz proves his great talent by expressing the nuanced fruit of the Riesling grape variety just as clearly as the animating acidity and the subtle citrus note that characterize a good Riesling from the Rheingau.

This Riesling was produced with the motto "as little as possible, as much as necessary" in terms of interventions in the development. The limitation of the harvest quantity by pruning, the careful care of the vineyards, the late selective manual harvest, the careful pressing of the grapes, the individual storage of the musts and the gentle aging of the wines are the most important measures that were carried out to achieve this excellent wine quality.
