• STORY: In Apulia, viticulture is history and innovation at the same time. At Tormaresca these two souls find their expression. For this reason, the Antinori family started investing here in 1998. For them, the region was one of the most promising in all of Italy for producing quality wines with a particularly strong territorial identity.

   

• EXPANSION: The grapes were stored in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. Fermentation at a temperature of 26°C lasted 8 to 10 days. Another aging period followed, first for about 8 months in stainless steel and for another 4 months in the bottle.

• AROMA: Aromas of red fruits (cherries) and jam paired with delicate notes of violets and anise.

• SERVING RECOMMENDATION : Goes well with game, braised leg of lamb or hearty pasta .

• SERVING TEMPERATURE: 16 -18 °C

Tormaresca owns two estates in the best growing areas for quality wines. The first is Bocca di Lupo, located in the DOC of Castel del Monte, in the northern part of Salento. The second estate is called Masseria Maìme and is located in one of the most beautiful areas of northern Salento, not far from the town of San Pietro Vernotico in the province of Brindisi. The heart of the estate is the "Tomaresca Winery", an innovative building that reinterprets in a contemporary style the typical vegetation forms of Salento, such as the sinuous shapes of the agave leaves and the olive trees.
