Thomas Hensel took over responsibility in the cellar of his parents' winery in 1992 at the age of only 20. Under his direction, the winery has risen to become one of the top companies in the Palatinate in recent years. Thomas attaches great importance to hand-picking only healthy and ripe grapes. His white wines are matured according to the sur-lie method, the wines are left on the fine lees for a long time. Inspired by the sports airfield at the winery, this line is called Aufwind.
