STORY: Today's Prunotto winery was born in 1904 when it was founded as a winegrowers' cooperative "Der Weine aus Langhe". Prunotto is located in Alba, in the heart of the Langhe, halfway between Barbaresco and Barolo, on the south-eastern side of the Tanaro River on a gentle hill surrounded by vineyards that stretch across the Langhe and Roero.
-
VINIFICATION: The grapes are harvested, pressed and fermented by hand. When the alcohol content reaches 5.5%, fermentation is stopped by cooling the wine.
-
EVALUATION: This light yellow white wine shows the typical Moscato character: on the nose hints of acacia honey and hawthorn and a full, lively and elegant taste with a pleasant and harmonious finish.
-
SERVING RECOMMENDATION: Enjoy with fresh fruit or fine pastries.

SERVING TEMPERATURE: 6-8° C
Today's Prunotto winery was born in 1904 when it was founded as a winegrowers' cooperative "Der Weine aus Langhe". After the first good harvest in 1905, a few difficult years followed. Economic bottlenecks and the effects of the First World War finally led to the dissolution of the cooperative. The Antinori family has been working at the Prunotto winery since 1989, first in sales and then taking over in 1994 when the Colla brothers decided to retire. The winery's production philosophy, always very attentive to details and with a great passion for wine, brought Prunotto and the Antinori family together to face a new challenge: to explore and develop the potential of this new terroir, in which both local and international varieties can express the remarkable territorial identity of the area.
