Dante - full name Dante Alighieri - is Italy's most famous poet and philosopher. He lived from 1265 to 1321 and created one of the most important works in world literature with his Divine Comedy. The evocative chapter in which Dante deals with paradise was written on an estate immersed in the heavenly vineyards from which the wonderful wines of Serègo Alighieri come. And that is anything but a coincidence! Dante's son Pietro was so taken with the northern Italian estate in the heart of the classic Valpolicella region that he bought it in 1353, giving his family a legacy that it has lovingly cherished for over 20 generations. To this day, the family of Count Serègo Alighieri is primarily committed to viticulture. Without exception, their vineyards are in the Cru sites of the Valpolicella, and the grapes are processed in their own cellar. With the Possessioni wines from Serègo Alighieri, the Poderi Bell' Ovile and the Vaio Armaron, we are pleased to present you with four very special wines. Serègo Alighieri - wines full of poetry.
