• STORY: Probably the most famous resident of Gascony was the Comte d'Artagnan, known as the 4th Musketeer in Alexandre Dumas' bestseller.

• VINIFICATION: After the harvest, the grapes are immediately selected and gently pressed. After fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures, the wine ages on the fine lees for a few months.

• AROMA: Aromas of acacia, mango and lemon with mineral notes .

• JUDGEMENT: This elegant white wine is wonderfully dry and light-footed. In the finale, the youthful Gascon inspires with a remarkable reverberation.

Gascony lies deep in the south-west of France, bordered by the Atlantic, the Pyrenees and the Garonne. At the end of the 1970s, committed winegrowers from the communities of Plaisance, Aignan and Saint Mont joined forces and put the Côtes de Gascogne on the world wine list. But of course the charm and world fame of Bordelais, which is not so far away, cannot harm the Fleur de d'Artagnan wines either, which is why the classics also go into the Plaimont creations. Together they form the foundation on which the success of the Plaimont wine cooperative is based.
