Five generations of history and tradition had already preceded it when Settimo Pizzolato joined his father Gino in 1981 in what was then a mixed fruit-growing business with 2.5 hectares of vineyards. Settimo Pizzolato was not only a smart and always reliable businessman, he was also one of the first winegrowers in Italy to decide on sustainable, organic and today vegan management of the winery. From 1987 he gradually converted the company and had it certified in 1991. His goal: to produce wines that meet the expectations of a particularly health-conscious consumer, made from grapes grown in an unpolluted environment without the use of chemicals or animal products. In the 1990s, the company's own vineyards slowly grew to 7.5 hectares, today there are 85. In the state-of-the-art, impressive new cellar, the organic grapes from 200 hectares of vineyards are also processed by winegrower colleagues - mainly into Prosecco and Spumante for export to Sweden, Germany and the USA.
