STORY: Torres created the first Viña Esmeralda in 1976 and named it after the emerald green color (esmeralda in Spanish) of the nearby Mediterranean Sea. After a fragrant rosé variant, Torres Viña Esmeralda is now adding this elegant Mediterranean sparkling to the side.

VINIFICATION: The Muskateller grapes for the Viña Esmeralda sparkling wine were harvested and taken immediately to the winery, where they were immediately pressed and fermented within two weeks at controlled temperatures of around 16 °C in stainless steel tanks to form the base wines.
