• STORY: In the cool altitudes of the Upper Penedès (Alt Penedès), the aromatic white Muskateller and Gewürztraminer grapes unfold their unmistakable, delicate and intense varietal character.

• VINIFICATION: For Viña Esmeralda, the grapes of both varieties are fermented within two weeks at controlled temperatures of around 16 °C in cool stainless steel tanks and the young wines are also aged purely in stainless steel tanks in order to preserve their fragrant freshness and varietal fruit as pure and unadulterated as possible.

• AROMA: floral-fragrant bouquet of linden and acacia blossoms, ripe citrus fruits, fresh grapes (muscatel) and an exotic touch of passion fruit

• RATING: sensual on the palate, seductive with a silky texture, fine play of acidity and a fresh, slightly tart-fruity aftertaste of pink grapefruit

• SERVING RECOMMENDATION: with delicate appetizers such as melon with ham, avocado with fresh shrimp, light pies or with grilled fish, seafood or wok dishes from Asian cuisine
