STORY: Production area: Valle Central. In Chile, Santa Digna was the name given to the crosses that marked the transition from urban to rural areas. A kind of boundary stone that symbolized growth and prosperity and promised protection to all those who moved from one area to another.
-
VINIFICATION: The grapes for Santa Digna Chardonnay come from the somewhat cooler locations in the Río Claro region, where they develop their juicy varietal fruit and lively freshness particularly intensively. The musts are fermented cool in stainless steel tanks for just under three weeks and bottled in the summer of the harvest year.
