STORY: Milmanda lay on a stretch of medieval fortresses that offered protection to Christians at the time of the Reconquista, the reconquest of the Iberian Peninsula.
-
VINIFICATION: On Milmanda, the Chardonnay is carefully harvested by hand, strictly sorted, the optimally healthy and ripe grapes are gently pressed and the must is fermented in oak barrels at a cool 16 °C for two to three weeks.
AROMA: intense bouquet with floral and fruity aromas of pineapple and citrus fruits, fine roasted aromas in the background reveal the aging in oak barrels
ASSESSMENT: excellently structured on the palate, full-bodied, elegant and complex with a fine balance of fresh fruit, delicate notes of spice and toast, almonds and roasted nuts, which linger in the finish for a long time
-
SERVING RECOMMENDATION: Fish with firm meat (monkfish, turbot) with flaked almonds fried in butter or with light sauces, roast poultry from the oven or in wine-cream sauce, medium-strong cheese (cow's milk)
