STORY: Growing area: Valle de Curico. Miguel Torres single-vineyard Cabernet pays homage to Manso de Velasco, the Spanish governor of Chile and founder of the city of Cúrico (1743), renowned for his audacity as well as his bravery.

VINIFICATION: The grapes are harvested at the beginning of May, taken immediately to the winery and fermented here at controlled temperatures (30°C) for seven days.

ASSESSMENT: Uniquely elegant and powerful on the palate at the same time with velvety soft mature tannins, in the finale fantastically long and persistent with an aromatic aftertaste of dark fruit, spices and fine roasted notes
SERVING RECOMMENDATION: wonderful with roast meat, especially duck or game dishes, and spicy mature sheep's cheese (Manchego, Pecorino)
