VINIFICATION: For Torres Gran Cornonas, the Tempranillo is harvested first, then the late-ripening Cabernet Sauvignon, and the grapes are macerated in the winery for two weeks to remove the powerful color pigments and first aromas from the skins.
AROMA: aromatic complex bouquet with spicy notes (black pepper, cloves), aromas of dark fruits (sour cherries, wild berries) and hints of undergrowth and herbs
RATING: Gentle and full-bodied with sweetly ripened fruit, fine, slightly earthy spiciness and clearly structured, silky integrated tannins, also complex, round and powerful on the palate, aromatically concentrated with a long, supple, elegant finish

SERVING RECOMMENDATION: Delicious with tender lamb and beef (roasted, grilled), game dishes, sausage and ham, braised aubergines and many Spanish hard cheeses like Manchego
