STORY: The new cuvée is named after the British sea merchant Vardon Kennett, who settled in the middle of the vineyards in the Penedès at the beginning of the 19th century.
-
VINIFICATION: All grapes were harvested by hand in the first week of September, brought immediately to the winery, pressed here whole and fermented in tanks and in French oak barrels (twelve percent of the must) with selected natural yeasts.
-
AROMA: The bouquet is elegant, intense and delicate at the same time with a fine balance of fragrant, fresh varietal fruit (stone fruit, citrus fruits), delicate roasted and brioche notes from the ripening on the yeast and mineral hints that reveal the local terroir of the cuvée
EVALUATION: elegant and fresh on the palate as well, an expressive ambassador of its grapes as well as of the high-altitude vineyards where they mature, intense and very long-lasting, pure finesse with promise
SERVING RECOMMENDATION: as an elegant aperitif with savory puff pastries, smoked fish (salmon, trout), oysters au gratin, souffles or with medium-ripened soft cheese
