STORY: For well over a thousand years, the shepherds who moved through the Duero Valley with their flocks of sheep were guided by the constellations in the sky. Celeste wants to capture this unbroken magic of the region for us.
-
VINIFICATION: In the Torres winery in Fompedraza, the Tinto Fino grapes were harvested when they were optimally ripe and immediately taken to the winery, where they were macerated cold and then fermented in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures of around 25 to 30 °C for a week.
AROMA: Aromatically intensive, fruity bouquet of sweetly ripe wild berries, blackberry jam and dark plums, underlined with the fine spicy and roasted notes of the oak wood ripening
RATING: Velvety, fleshy, deep and full-bodied, the intense, juicy, spicy fruit of the bouquet can also be felt on the palate, now supported by firm yet gentle tannins, which give the wine even more density, fullness and structure; all components: fruit, tannin, lively acidity, finely spicy notes of wood are perfectly balanced and accompany a long finish

SERVING RECOMMENDATION: with tender roast lamb and beef with Mediterranean herbs, steaks and chops from the grill, medium-strong game dishes or meatless delights such as peperonata, braised wild mushrooms, aubergines, spicy dishes with pumpkin, chickpeas, white beans or mature soft cheese
