AGEING: Cabernet Sauvignon from the cool Itata Valley sounds unusual and is therefore typical Torres again. Here the grapes ripen even later than usual, are then fermented slowly and a good two-thirds of the wines are aged in barriques that have been used several times.
AROMA: Fresh red berries on the bouquet, underlined with the delicate toasted notes of the oak.
EVALUATION: Elegant and powerful on the palate, with gentle tannins and a fine balance of juicy fruit and freshness.
SERVING RECOMMENDATION: with grilled and roasted lamb and beef, spicy vegetable stews (with and without meat), lentils, beans, stewed peppers or medium-ripened cheese
