Since 1994, Markus Schneider has been a true wine pioneer at the top of German winegrowers. He tirelessly expanded a vineyard with an area of one hectare in the municipality of Ellerstadt between Ludwigshafen and Bad Dürkheim in the Palatinate to 92 hectares of vineyards. At first he took over the land from his father, who had grown orchards and vines and sold the fruit for further processing. After training at the renowned winery Dr. Bürklin Wolff, which is one of the flagships of the Palatinate along with the Bassermann Jordan winery and Reichsrat von Buhl, he took matters into his own hands. The winery has been expanded into an international brand and is not only listed in many top restaurants and hotels, but is also part of the permanent portfolio of the best airlines and cruise fleets in the world. The "HULLABALOU", a dry, full white wine" is the successor to the "TAKATUKA" formerly created by Markus Schneider, whose name was protected in connection with Pipi Longstocking and the child now had to be given a different name. The Hullabaloo already impresses in the glass with its juicy yellow color with light green reflections. A cuvée of Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and Viognier enchants with aromas of passion fruit, gooseberries and citrus fruits and sets accents with mango, lychee and papaya. As a white wine, it impresses above all with its unobtrusive juiciness and minerality. It stays on the palate for a long time and you can taste the smoky vanilla notes and the delicate enamel in the aftertaste. Markus Schneider dedicated this wine to his daughter Josephine and donates part of the proceeds to the Sterntaler children's hospice.
