STORY: Luna Argenta means "silver moon" because the moon has at least as much influence on the growth and ripeness of the grapes as the sun and is therefore of essential importance for the production of the Luna Argenta wine.
- VINIFICATION: Some of the grapes dry on the vine for 2 months. After the selective harvest, the grapes are gently pressed and fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. Developed consciously without the use of wood, this drop is full of fruit and refreshing liveliness.
-
AROMA: Aromas of vanilla and dark berries with hints of black pepper, cinnamon and clove.
-
EVALUATION: On the palate, a velvety, intense taste with a long-lasting finish.
-
SERVING RECOMMENDATION: Lasagna, grilled prime rib of beef, aged cheeses
Some of the grapes for the Luna Argenta wines are dried in small wooden boxes for at least three weeks after harvesting in the Appassimento style and only then are they carefully pressed. As a result, the aromas and sweetness are concentrated in the berries and the wines get their particularly velvety, intense taste and their unique character. Luna Argenta means "silver moon" because the moon has at least as much influence on the growth and ripeness of the grapes as the sun and is therefore of essential importance for the production of the Luna Argenta wine.
