The Karl Pfaffmann winery is located in Walsheim in the southern Palatinate. The winery now has over 70 hectares of vineyards, including in traditional vineyard locations such as Nussdorfer Kirchenstück and Gleisweiler Hölle. 3/4 of them are planted with white wines and 1/4 with red wine varieties. In and around Walsheim, the vines grow on loess soil with a little lime content, which gives the wines a harmonious and substantial character. In addition, Markus Pfaffmann has been vinifying his wines vegan for some time. He also attaches great importance to sustainability. Responsible treatment of the environment and society is important to him, which is why the winery has been a member of Fair'n Green since 2015. Honest, variety-specific wines with fresh, clear fruit, an unbeatable price-performance ratio and impressively reliable quality are then bottled.
