A wine microcosm of its own has developed between Mediterranean and Alpine, between Austria and Italy. The anniversary winery on the shore of Lake Caldaro looks back on a long history of viticulture. At the beginning of the 19th century, thanks to its mineral, fresh and clearly structured wines, South Tyrol became the wine treasury of the Habsburgs and the winery, founded in 1908, became the emperor's house and court supplier. The different climate and soil conditions around Lake Caldaro give the wines an unmistakable character. The grapes are tended to in the vineyard with a great deal of care and dedication and are only »picked« by hand when they are optimally ripe. Based on a wealth of experience and well-founded knowledge, the cellar master Andrea Moser effortlessly combines the latest cellar technology with living traditions. In this way, wines of the highest quality are created, which carry the South Tyrolean attitude to life into the world.
