• STORY: Huia Estate was founded in 1996 by Claire and Mike Allan and now has 50 hectares in Marlborough. The top wines are marketed under the winery name "Huia", which derives its name from a beautiful species of New Zealand bird that became extinct in the early 20th century.

• AGEING: Fermentation takes place at controlled temperatures. After a short maturation in steel tanks, this wine is released for sale young and fresh.

• RATING: Notes of gooseberries and guava with hints of lime and passion fruit. Aromatic on the palate with a fine structure. Long-lasting, seductive finish.

• SERVING RECOMMENDATION: An excellent accompaniment to oysters, fish, lobster or shrimp. Recommended serving temperature approx. 10-12°C.
