STORY: The Roux family acquired Château du Trignon in 1896 and has since transformed it from a traditional, agriculturally diversified estate over 5 generations into a high-quality, wine-oriented domaine with properties in the Gigondas, Rasteau, Sablet and Côtes du Rhône regions.

AGEING: The vines grow on three different types of soil: clayey and calcareous, tertiary deposits (molasses), alluvial soils with fragmented pebbles and sandstone.

AROMA: The bouquet is characterized by toasted notes, mocha, hints of Mediterranean flora and hints of cloves.

EVALUATION: Fresh, powerful flavors with a voluminous and complex structure appear on the palate. In the finish with an unobtrusive, delicate wood note.

SERVING RECOMMENDATION: Wonderful with leg of lamb, red meat dishes or fine dishes with truffles. Recommended drinking temperature approx. 16-18°C.
