TORY: Between the numerous olive and almond plantations, Mallorca's partly ancient vineyards find their place in the picturesque landscape of the popular holiday island. The autochthonous red grape varieties Manto Negro, Callet and Gorgolassa grow on red clay soil with large round limestone. Es Tren brings movement into play here and blends the local with international grape varieties such as Syrah & Merlot.
-
VINIFICATION: The harvest, beginning in early September, is carried out exclusively by picking hands. The grapes are carefully transported to the winery in small boxes weighing 12 kilos each. After careful selection, the grapes are macerated for about 5 days to preserve the bright red color and silky tannins. After 3 months of aging in stainless steel tanks, the wine is bottled.
-
AROMA: The bouquet conveys intense aromas of dark fruits such as plums or blackberries and spicy notes.
-
EVALUATION: The wine presents itself in the glass in a light garnet red. Fresh on the palate, very supple with ripe tannins. A long, fruity finish with notes of Mediterranean herbs rounds off the drinking experience.
-
SERVING RECOMMENDATION: Whether with white meat from the grill in late summer or with stews in autumn and winter, this wine is a guarantee for Spanish enjoyment!
