El Coto Tinto Crianza Rioja DOCa Tempranillo Dry Spain (3 x 0.75l)

• STORY: Already in 1970 "El Coto de Rioja" harvests its first grapes in Rioja, but the first wines do not come on the market before 1975. The original winery is located in Oyón in the southeast of Rioja Alavesa and is still in operation today.

   

• EXPANSION: After pressing, fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks. The wine then refines for between 12 and 14 months in new 225 liter American barriques before it is bottled and stored in the bottle for at least another 6 months.
  

• JUDGEMENT: Intense ruby ​​red from the famous Tempranillo grape. Perfect combination of red berries and the fine vanilla nuances from the barrique storage. Soft tannins and excellent structure. Long aftertaste accompanied by fresh fruit. Not too complex, very harmonious and soft.
  

• SERVING RECOMMENDATIONS : Due to the perfect balance, the El Coto Crianza can be described as an "all-rounder: it goes well with fish, pasta, rice dishes and light meat as well as chorizo, veal or mild cheese.

• SERVING TEMPERATURE: 16 -18 °C
