VINIFICATION: After the selective harvest, the grapes are gently pressed and fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. Matured deliberately without the use of wood, this drop is full of fruit and refreshing liveliness.
AROMA: Impresses with aromas of yellow fruits and citrus notes
EVALUATION: On the palate with an extremely mild freshness, little acidity and intense flavor density.
SERVING RECOMMENDATION: Goes well with fish, seafood and light poultry, salads or vegetables
The nice thing about Italy is that, in addition to the prestigious regions such as Piemonte and Tuscany, there are also areas where you can still make inexpensive discoveries. This is mostly due to the fact that these regions are simply not that famous and on the other hand that there are very efficient wineries there that know how to produce really first-class wines in larger quantities. Apulia in the sun-drenched south of Italy is one such region. However, it was a surprise that we would come across drops there that had such a sensational price/quality ratio. The decisive factor for the production of this full-bodied and creamy Primitivo Rosato is the slightly extended and temperature-controlled maceration time of 12 hours at 5-7°C. This gives this carefully picked wine a special color and this refreshing yet full character. This rose wine is an excellent wine and a versatile accompaniment to a wide variety of table settings.
