The Béraut family is happy to have the privilege of being able to make a living from winegrowing in Montréal-du-Gers for more than 300 years. Less than two kilometers away is the Gallo-Roman archaeological site of Seviac, which, with its mosaics, bears witness to a 2000-year-old wine-growing tradition. The vineyards of the Bérauts extend around the legendary Château de Pellehaut, whose name is derived from the Roman word "pila" and referred to a particularly powerful spear. The brothers Martin and Mathieu also have this power. With the Fön blowing down from the Pyrenees as an ally, iron will and an armada of sunshine, they have managed to spearhead the most popular wines from Gascony.
