• STORY: Viticulture in Argentina was one of Dieter Meier's first agricultural projects. More than 15 years of passion for organic viticulture, in the perfect climatic conditions at the foot of the Andes, are reflected in the qualities.

• VINIFICATION: After the manual harvest, the grapes are immediately selected and gently pressed. After fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures, the wine ages on the fine lees for a few months.

• AROMA: Flavors of acacia, mango, peach and lemon.

• RATING: This youthful white wine is wonderfully dry, round and supple. It presents itself with a beautiful balance and a remarkable aftertaste.

Dieter Meier is a conceptual artist. Born in Switzerland, he became famous as the singer of the electropop band Yello in the late 1980s. But not only music is still a passion of the multi-faceted artist, but also ecological agriculture. Dieter Meier has been a committed organic farmer in Argentina for years, breeds cattle and produces the PURO wines in Agrelo Alto. Both with an organic certificate (ArgenCert). Agrelo Alto is considered the best wine region in Mendoza. The dry, stony-sandy soils are very rich in minerals. The drought protects the vines from fungal diseases and rot; an enormous advantage, especially for organic viticulture, which consistently does without fungicides or other chemical pesticides.
