STORY: Labouré-Roi was founded as a family business in 1832 and has been one of the largest wine merchants in Burgundy ever since. The head office is in Nuits-Saint-Georges.

VINIFICATION: The harvest is carried out exclusively by hand in order to obtain an optimal harvest. Alcoholic fermentation takes place at controlled temperatures of around 28°C in stainless steel tanks, followed by aging in 228 liter French oak barrels, the famous "Pièce Bourguignone".

AROMA: Notes of a full basket of berries, especially currants, strawberries and raspberries.

SERVING RECOMMENDATION: Recommended drinking temperature approx. 14-16°C. Excellent with duck with peach, game dishes or spicy cheeses with fig mustard.
