STORY: The Château Vaccant is located 4 km south of the regionally known Bastide de Sainte Foy la Grande and has been owned by the same family for 3 generations. A bastide is the name for the cities of southern France that were founded in the Middle Ages and largely built in one go.

AGEING: The vinification takes place at a controlled temperature, with the classification as Bordeaux moelleux, the residual sugar content must regularly be more than 4 g/l. This wine is bottled relatively young and fresh and released for marketing.

AROMA: Aromatic, exotic fruits.

EVALUATION: On the palate it is full-bodied, elegant, harmonious and balanced with a fine, sweet structure.

SERVING RECOMMENDATION: Wonderful as an aperitif, with dessert or with sweet dishes in general. Also recommended with blue cheeses such as Roquefort. Typical serving temperature approx. 11°C.
