STORY: Monsieur Darnajou cultivates around 17 hectares of vineyards on his Château Jean Gué, which are mainly located on excellent gravel soils. The vines are on average 15 years old.

AGEING: The vines grow on characteristic silica soil and are about 15 years old on average. The harvest takes place under limited yields. After a period of maceration, the grapes are fermented at controlled temperatures.

AROMA: Aromas of black currant and liquorice.
- EVALUATION: Lively, spicy and harmonious on the palate. Lasting, finely balanced finale!

SERVING RECOMMENDATION: An excellent accompaniment to intensive salads, duck breast or confit de canard. Best drinking temperature at approx. 16-17°C.
