STORY: The winery is located in the south-east of Bordeaux in the village of Ladaux, where the soil is particularly calcareous. Philipe Ducourt cultivates around 53 hectares of vineyards, 41 hectares of which are red and 12 hectares of white grape varieties.

VINIFICATION: The vines are near the small village of Ladaux on particularly calcareous soil. Income is limited. After the harvest, the grapes are gently pressed and fermented under controlled temperatures.

AROMA: Notes of buttery berries.

EVALUATION: Round, soft and pleasant on the palate with a delicate aftertaste.

SERVING RECOMMENDATION: Wonderful with roast steak, grilled or delicately dressed red meat. Excellent with soft cheeses. Recommended drinking temperature approx. 16-17°C.
