STORY: The wine history of the Corbières region begins in early antiquity when the first vines were planted by the Romans in 125 BC. The imposing Château de Luc stands in the village center of Luc sur Orbieu, on the exceptional terroir of Lezignan.
-
AGEING: After the grapes have been harvested, there is a 40% carbonic maceration and a traditional 60% fermentation of the grapes. The wine is then refined in tanks for 6 months before being bottled young.
-
AROMA: Notes of ripe red fruit with light peppery notes.
-
RATING: The Château de Luc is a racy Corbières full of finesse. Its soft and harmonious tannins give this wine a long life. Full-bodied, full-bodied and round.
-
SERVING RECOMMENDATION: Goes well with pizza, pasta and rice dishes, grilled or sauced meat and more intense cheeses. Drinking temperature 16-18°C.
