• STORY: The Château Carbonneau is one of those places where you simply feel good. • VINIFICATION: through more than ten months of storage in classic mash fermentation at 30°C, 12 months in barrique (French wood), partly 2nd and 3rd filling, the wine develops a delicate vanilla aroma.

• AROMA: dense ruby ​​red. Lots of spices on the nose, subtle wood, finely highlighted with cherries, some almonds and blackcurrants.

• RATING: Fine, firm tannins on the palate, lending strength and spice. Juicy and full-bodied with fine wild berry notes.

Harold and Claude Ray, the grandparents of the current owner, must have felt the same way when they fell in love with the property and eventually bought it in 1937. Today they proudly look back on 20ha of top locations in the Sainte Foy-Bordeaux AOC appellation, from which they elicit fabulous wines. In 2007 they first planted his part of the vineyards with Sauvignon Blanc. The special hillside location and the terroir demanded it. We can only congratulate the Ferrières on this decision: Their Lulu Rosé is the perfect summer wine with a great bouquet of exotic fruits and acacia aromas. The red wine cuvée Sequoia can also be tasted very well. After 12 months of storage in barriques, the wine develops a delicate vanilla aroma that harmonises perfectly with the pronounced fruit and the spicy notes.
