STORY: The owners of this classified winery, Sophie and Laurent Lurton from the famous Bordeaux wine-growing dynasty, have dedicated themselves entirely to the tradition and terroir of this Pessac Léognan appellation, which is quite unknown in Germany.
-
VINIFICATION: The harvest is carried out exclusively by hand with limited yields. Vinification takes place in cement and stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Malolactic fermentation takes place in French oak barrels for 18 months. The wine then ages in the bottle for a few more months before being released for sale.
-
AROMA: Discreet fruit aromas and mild hints of wood.
-
EVALUATION: Well balanced and fruity on the palate with harmonious, expressive tannins.
-
SERVING RECOMMENDATION: At a drinking temperature of approx. 16-18°C, it is a wonderful accompaniment to meat dishes with expressive sauces, grilled red meat, game or cheeses such as "Brebis des Pyrenees".
