STORY: The family-run winery Château Bel Air Perponcher, located in the Entre-deux-Mers area and a stone's throw from St. Emilion, cultivates 55 hectares. The Despagne family of winegrowers proudly points to a wine-growing culture that has lasted for more than 250 years.
-
VINIFICATION: The grapes are pressed at cool temperatures under nitrogen to prevent oxidation. The must macerates in steel tanks at low temperatures for several days. After fermentation, part of the wine is refined in new French barrique barrels, while the rest matures in steel tanks.
-
AROMA: Fresh aromatic bouquet of pineapple and pears.
-
RATING: Rich volume, well balanced with fine, elegant acidity. The barrique storage gives the wine its full-bodied smoothness without broad wood notes.
-
SERVING RECOMMENDATION: Enjoy this wine with fresh fish or white meat! Also an ideal accompaniment to veal, goat's cheese, turkey or poultry. Drinking temperature 13°C.
