We should track down "the red wine with the absolute best value for money on the market". After a long search we found what we were looking for in the Minervois, a small part of the Languedoc. The terroir is complex and has an amazing variety of soils. Slate, quartz gravel, sandstone, limestone and marl soils run through the vineyards at altitudes between 50 and 500 meters. This results in wines with a unique character, elegance and finesse. Spicy Syrah, soft Grenache and strong Carignan come together in wonderful harmony. Encouragement is included in this bottle, so a young chef who took part in one of the final rehearsals had the courage to speak to "the love of his life" on the evening of the tasting and found happiness with her.
