STORY: The family-run company GH Martel & Co. has owned vineyards in the prestigious Champagne region since 1869. The property currently includes around 100 hectares of acreage on which the three grape varieties Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay are grown. The company headquarters are in Epernay, right in the heart of Champagne.

VINIFICATION: The grapes are harvested at the ideal degree of ripeness and gently pressed separately for each grape variety. In order to achieve the rosé tone of the champagne, the skins are left on the mash until the desired color has been achieved. The must is then pumped into stainless steel tanks and the first fermentation takes place at controlled temperatures.
-
AROMA: Nice salmon color in the glass. The bouquet is aromatic and intense with red berries such as blackcurrants.
EVALUATION: Elegant and rich in finesse on the palate with fine perlage. Persistent exit!
SERVING RECOMMENDATION: Excellent as an accompaniment to desserts such as zabaglione or panna cotta. Alternatively, of course, also suitable as an aperitif or to accompany a whole evening. Recommended serving temperature 8-10°C.
