Cascina Belvedere Organic Risotto Rice Carnaroli (1 x 500g)

• STORY: Rice couldn't be more natural! The methods of harvesting and processing the rice grains go hand in hand with environmental protection, so it goes without saying that Cascina Belvedere is a certified organic farm (IT-BIO-004 Organic Agricoltura Italia). After harvesting, the rice is stored in silos at a maximum of 8°C. The only preservation is the cooling.

• PRODUCTION: The processing takes place in small batches. The grains are hulled minimally, resulting in higher nutritional content and more complex flavor than common industrial rice varieties. The vacuum packaging ultimately gives the rice its long lifespan and ensures that its properties are preserved.  

• EXCLUSIVE MIX: Carnaroli rice is used for the finest risottos and is highly appreciated in exclusive cuisine. It is a large-grain rice that has a pleasant bite, even in creamy risotto dishes.

• RECOMMENDATION: Cascina Belvedere only uses Carnaroli rice for the risotto mixes. The finished mixtures only have to be supplemented with olive oil, water and/or wine according to the packaging instructions and the connoisseur feels transported to an Italian tavern.

It is one of the few producers who have all the work steps from sowing to packaging in their own hands. Vercelli is in Piedmont and is the region that is famous worldwide for its successful cultivation of rice due to its abundance of water. Cascina Belvedere works in a nature reserve for the repopulation of fauna.
