• STORY: The Bodegas Salentein were founded in 1995 by the Dutchman Meindert Pon. Located in the Valle de Uco, they are considered pioneers in viticulture in this area, which is about 100 km south of Mendoza.

• VINIFICATION: After the selective harvest, the grapes are gently processed and fermented at a controlled temperature in large barrels. The wine then matures in new French barriques for 14-16 months.

• AROMA: Aromas of blackberries, blueberries and black currants with hints of vanilla and cinnamon.

• EVALUATION: The 12-month aging in barriques produces an attractive, full-bodied wine with a rich body and soft tannins.

• SERVING RECOMMENDATION: Wellington fillet of beef, lamb with a herb crust and balsamic sauce, steaks .
