• STORY: The Bergdolt-Reif & Nett winery is located in southwest Germany, more precisely: in the Palatinate - where wine has been cultivated for more than 2000 years.

• VINIFICATION: After the selective harvest, the grapes are gently pressed and fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. Developed consciously without the use of wood, this drop is full of fruit and refreshing liveliness.

• RATING: Animating fruity aromas with a mineral line, playful. Well-formed Riesling fruit (peach, apple, grapefruit) on the palate with mineral acidity, a wine to buy that awakens all taste buds. Everything harmoniously combined and polished. A wine with good length.

• SERVING RECOMMENDATION: Enriching dining partner: Saumagen with wine sauerkraut always works, but also fish dishes, mussels, Indian mild tandoori dishes, also meatless; Pastors should use it as altar wine.

The Bergdolt-Reif & Nett winery is located in southwest Germany, more precisely: in the Palatinate - where wine has been cultivated for more than 2000 years. The Nett family is the fifth generation to run the estate and they still allow some of the wines to mature in the same sandstone vaulted cellar that their ancestors built in 1838. Only the combination of the best vines with the right soil can produce the highest quality. The deep loess-loam soils with lime veins in the subsoil offer excellent conditions for the specialty of the winery: the winery's own, old selections of white, gray and pinot noir vines. But Sauvignon Blanc, Gewürztraminer and Riesling also thrive here and Merlot, Lagrein, Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz find their niche in the top locations. Peace and restraint reign everywhere on the winery, because harmony with nature is the greatest asset. It sets the pace of work. Each parcel has its own potential. You bring this with passion and knowledge to individual development. They give each wine what it needs. Starting with the right grape variety in the vineyard, gentle pressing, controlled fermentation, the know-how paired with a lot of time and even more patience until the perfect result in the glass.
