The Dél-Balatoni wine region is located south of Lake Balaton in Hungary. For over 160 years, the Balatonboglári Winery has been producing the region's aromatically scented wines. The company manages around 3,500 hectares. The Balatonboglári wine cellar, which is more than 160 years old, used to be the tithe cellar of the Veszprém bishopric and, with a capacity of around 4,000 hectoliters and an area of over 500 square meters, is the largest wine cellar in the region. The carvings in the large oak barrels, which represent the patron saints of viticulture, are particularly interesting.
