The Quinta de Azevedo is the white flagship of the House of Sogrape, Portugal's leading wine producer. This typical Vinho Verde comes from the vineyards of the breathtakingly beautiful medieval estate. The wine experts on focus.de rave about our Quinta de Azevedo as "...a fresh and elegant Vinho Verde". Crystal clear, it swims in the glass with a very slight greenish-yellow shimmer. You smell a bouquet of alpine flowers, green apples and stream pebbles. In the mouth it is lively like a young horse, this wine literally jumps around. This comes from the acidity, which has been well integrated here by skilled professionals and ensures a pleasant mouthfeel. You can also say that the wine tastes “full”. Or: It tastes like an evening stroll through a citrus grove. Violet dawns and the first dampness of the night creeps out of the ground. Sogrape has managed to bring the wine-growing regions of Vinho Verde, Douro, Dão and Bairrada to a level that is now competitive across national borders. The house "pursues a consistent quality policy that respectfully preserves old traditions, cultivates local varieties and thus produces independent Portuguese plants", writes the specialist magazine Vinum in recognition of the great merits of Portugal's No. 1.
