STORY: This is unusual even in the dynamically changing wine world of Spain, because this is an absolutely young winery (first harvest 2005), which has arrived in the elite of the nation with the starting gun. The reason for this lies in the personality of Albert Jané, who entered the wine world with a very clear vision. He wants to liven up the present with the wisdom and down-to-earth experience of the "elders".
-
AGEING: from old vines; Aging in French oak for 12 months
AROMA: Countless aromas on the nose, red fruits, sweet spices, dark chocolate, coffee, toffee and other toasted notes.
-
EVALUATION: On the palate, fine tannins envelop fruit traces again, inner density is married to noticeable minerality. Despite its muscular body, the wine conveys differentiated freshness and coolness in its texture. Morbid and ethereal. A masterpiece!
SERVING RECOMMENDATION: grilled or braised meat, pata negra, spicy sausages
This is unusual even in the dynamically changing wine world of Spain, because this is an absolutely young winery (first harvest 2005), which has arrived in the elite of the nation with the starting gun. The reason for this lies in the personality of Albert Jané, who entered the wine world with a very clear vision. He wants to liven up the present with the wisdom and down-to-earth experience of the ""oldies"". And the ""old"" means on the one hand the ancestors who knew their country, their soil and the plants better than almost anyone today, but above all the vines are meant, which are the basis of all winemaking. Albert Jané visited, hiked and felt plot by plot and was able to buy and lease unique vineyards, whose gnarled capital are vines that are 60, 70 and 85 years old. The Acústic wines tell of the growing personality and the expression of the people and nature in the region. Incidentally, the name ""Acústic"" comes from Albert Jané's love of music and refers to the opposite positions of acoustic instruments on the one hand and electrically/electronically amplified instruments on the other. The Priorat wine-growing region is located about 30 kilometers northwest of Tarragona and received the status of a Denominación de Origen Calificada in 2001. The fact that the region enjoys an excellent reputation worldwide is largely due to the pioneering work of Albert Jané and his enchanting wines.
