- STORY: Located in the beautiful Southern Palatinate (Germany's warmest climate prevails here), the Diehl couple concentrates primarily on the production of single-variety wines from classic Palatinate grape varieties, which always bear the signature of the local terroir.
- VINIFICATION: After the selective harvest, the grapes are gently pressed and fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. Matured deliberately without the use of wood, this drop is full of fruit and refreshing liveliness.
- AROMA: Lots of white fruit on the nose, cassis and a little gooseberry.
- EVALUATION: Smooth, fine sweetness on the palate, buffered by refreshing acidity. Due to the low alcohol content, it is very refreshing and easy to drink.
- SERVING RECOMMENDATION: Perfect for Asian cuisine with aromas of lemongrass and Thai basil
Located in the beautiful southern Palatinate (where Germany has the warmest climate), the Diehls concentrate primarily on the production of single-variety wines from classic Palatinate grape varieties, which always bear the signature of the local terroir. Complicated wines or styled techno wines are not her thing, but the goal is appealing, fruity and easy-to-drink wines. The wine press house is state-of-the-art; an old property from 1821 was converted for this purpose. Here, the Diehl family works with dedication to ensure that the incredible temperament of the grapes can gently unfold in the wine. The Diehls want to press "real types" - varietal representatives of the terroir, who represent the Edesheim soil and the unmistakable grape aromas in the wine with a strong character. The devotion to the authenticity of the grape variety is also particularly reflected in its liter qualities, which are perfect for everyday enjoyment.
