  • STORY: The winery of the Müller family is located in the village of Krustetten south of the Danube. The wine tradition of the house can be traced back to the year 1270. Nevertheless, this part of the Kremstal does not have quite as bright a reputation as the other bank, where the large neighbors boast of their vineyards lying on bedrock. But that hasn't bothered Leopold Müller for a long time.

  • VINIFICATION: The grapes are selectively handpicked in mid-October and pressed without a long standing period. This results in a very fruity, fresh must with a pleasant spiciness. Fermentation takes place in steel tanks. In December, the wine is drawn off and, after some storage time, bottled.

  • AROMA: light green-yellow, characteristic aromas of yellow apple and pear on the nose.

  • RATING: Beautiful fruit on the palate with a refined spiciness and finesse.

  • SERVING RECOMMENDATION: perfect with classic Austrian cuisine, but also with spicy international dishes, wok dishes and sushi

The Müller family's winery is located in the village of Krustetten, south of the Danube. He looks very satisfied at the picturesque hills at the foot of Göttweig Abbey. Here you will find excellent vineyards and steep southern slopes. ""We have different soils here, loess and loam on limestone gravel, and I maintain that our Grüner Veltliner gets even more flavor here"". He is right! During our last visit to the Müllers, the three likeable sterling fellows, or rather "Haberer", as they say in Austria, presented us with a Kremser Grüner Veltliner whose fruit, variety of nuances and characteristic spice took our breath away right away. We simply couldn't resist this paragon of Austria's national grape variety. After Leopold and Stefan offered to let us have this wonderful wine as an exclusive bottling, we didn't have to think long and decided to secure the whole lot.
