STORY: Before the Château de l'Aumérade passed into the talented hands of the Fabre family, a great king had once cast his eyes on the surrounding land: Henry IV himself was so convinced of the situation that he immediately ordered his minister to develop this place for viticulture and not to lose any time in production.
-
VINIFICATION: Three grape varieties from the south of France are used for the rosé. This creates a dreamy wine. Matured deliberately without the use of wood, this drop is full of fruit and refreshing liveliness. Its delicate coloring makes this wine something very special.
-
AROMA: wine with a scent of ripe strawberries and red currants
-
EVALUATION: Firm structure on the palate, elegant, seductively aromatic and smooth on the finish
-
SERVING RECOMMENDATION: with light meat and exotic salads as well as vegetable and pasta dishes
Before the Château de l'Aumérade passed into the talented hands of the Fabre family, a great king had already cast his eyes on the surrounding land: Henry IV himself was so convinced of the situation that he immediately ordered his minister to develop this place for viticulture and not to lose any time in production. Soon after 1594, the first casks rumbled north from the Château de l'Aumérade to the Parisian court. Today, Henri Fabre runs his own winery here, in the heart of the Côtes de Provence between Saint-Tropez and Toulon. For the likeable southern Frenchman, it is paradise on earth: "When I roam through the vineyards with my dog Dubai, take in the intense play of colors and the Provençal scents, I am the happiest person. With my rosé, I want to bring the wine lover closer to a piece of this fabulous world.” And we are really grateful to you for that, Monsieur Fabre!
